INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
Installation
Aircare is light and compact and the frame-fitted option is easy to install between the upper beam of the frame and the wall. The recessed option can be positioned as desired above or below the window, or vertically.
Aircare is easy to install, it can be used in new builds or retrofitted during renovations: it is a ductless system so it doesn't need to be connected to a centralised ducting system with invasive ductwork throughout the home.
FRAME-FITTED AIRCARE
- 1. Prepare the electric wiring track
- 2. Cut the Aircare casing to fit the width of the frame
- 3. Cut the Aircare casing to fit the width of the frame
- 4. Insert the power unit into the casing
- 5. Close the power unit compartment with the front panel
Frame-fitted Aircare does NOT require any masonry work at all.
You only need to leave a gap of 10 cm between the framework and the architrave to house Aircare.
RECESSED AIRCARE
- 1. Cut out the compartment in the wall
- 2. Prepare the electric wiring track
- 3. Insert the casing in the wall compartment with the corresponding air vents
- 4. Insert the power unit into the casing
- 5. Close the power unit compartment with the front panel
If you're not planning to replace windows or doors, the recessed version is perfect for you.
MAINTENANCE
The only maintenance required is to clean the filters. This is extremely easy:
- exhaust air filter (rinse under running water and dry thoroughly before reinserting it)
- supply air filter (if it's not dust-caked you can vacuum it)
When it is no longer possible to clean the filters, replace them so you can continue to benefit from the correct level of filtration.
- 1. Open the front panel
- 2. Remove the filters
- 3. Clean or replace the filters
- 4. Reinsert the clean filters
- 5. Reset
- 6. Close the front panel
